Naming Conventions
- Surnames
-
There are many Greek gods.
Fortunately, they are traditionally grouped
as Titans, Olympians, Muses, Fates, Furies, and the like,
and I have used those traditional titles as surnames,
which print in boldface.
This makes the various gods easier to tell apart.
- Epithets
-
Some gods, such as Pallas Athena, have traditional titles or epithets.
Those, such as Pallas, I have treated as titles, which print before the
main name.
- Functions
-
Many gods, such as Ares,
have specific functions or areas, such as War,
which I have treated as occupations, which print after the main name.
