I have run across another puzzle.
Francis Shepard married Mary Graves on Sep. 25, 1793. Mary Graves is the
daughter of William and Ann Graves. According to Midway Church records, she
was born on 15 Jan 1776 and died Dec. 12, 1803. Now the question is "Who is
William Graves?". The William Graves that originally settled Midway (500) is
still married to Rebecca Quarterman in 1776.
I have found no Midway birth or baptism records for William Graves and no
marriage records for a William Graves to an Ann.
Any help would be appreciated.
